Medical School Engagement Pilot launched

We are pleased to share that our Medical School Engagement Pilot is well underway. In collaboration with the three institutions taking part in the pilot, Anglia Ruskin University School of Medicine, University of Leeds School of Medicine, and University of Leicester Medical School, we will be hosting activities over the course of the academic year.
The aim of the pilot programme is to engage with medical students and prospective surgeons to promote surgery as an accessible and attractive career among students from a diversity of backgrounds.
We have successful already held So you want to be a surgeon? conferences at each university. We will be looking for volunteers to assist with teaching opportunities this spring. Find out how to get involved in upcoming activities.
The Medical School Engagement Pilot is a one-year pilot programme during the course of the 2022/23 academic year. It will help to inform the College’s offer for medical students in the future.
