We knew when we published our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Action Plan in September 2021 that we wouldn’t be able to do it on our own. We are immensely grateful to all our members who have contributed to our work so far, acted as a sounding board and helped keep the momentum going.

Welcoming SAS surgeons into the College

We need more SAS surgeons to get involved with our work to enable us to better support SAS colleagues and strengthen the diversity of voices at all levels of the College. We have removed barriers to SAS involvement with College roles and hope to see more SAS surgeons come forward, for example, as faculty and programme directors. There is more to do, and we need your help.
